Michelle I. Carter-Banzhaf has more than 20-years’ experience in many facets of healthcare, both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Her diverse experience has given her a wealth of experiential, as well as academic, knowledge that she uses in her current specialty of counseling healthcare executives in career transition, a service she performs with Wiederhold & Associates.
A bottoms-up, self-made healthcare and transition outplacement professional, she has a unique understanding of all levels of employee character and organizational culture. This includes entry-level to C-suite executives having worked at all levels in the healthcare field, beginning her career in high school.
That wisdom gives her a wealth of information to share in her primary skills of project and systems management, business operations, and networking with small, rural and urban healthcare environments and systems.

She is working to complete her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota – Crookston.
When not focused on her work responsibilities, she enjoys activities with her husband, Shannon, who is an elementary educator and her Morkie, Sophie Sedona. She has a son, Brandon, who is also a healthcare professional with an MHA from St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO. By giving back to her community, she is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), and state judge for job interview, impromptu speaking, introduction to public speaking and entrepreneurship.
