Dennis Kain has had a unique career path as he has served in leadership positions, within hospitals and health systems, where he served as a CEO, as well as leading executive search companies, where he served as President. Along the way, he has been a coach and mentor to dozens of health leaders, many of whom are currently serving as hospital or physician practice CEOs. Dennis is well known for a list of published articles and presentations regarding healthcare leadership, population health and the value of networking. Having served in the Wiederhold network since 2000, Dennis enjoys coaching healthcare leaders in transition.
A past President of George Washington University’s HSML Alumni Association and past Regent of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Dennis has also participated on Advisory Boards at Johns Hopkins University, Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health and the University of Scranton.
Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from George Washington University in Washington, DC and has completed extensive training in Predictive Index. Known for his love of American History, sports and music, Dennis has two adult children and three grandchildren.
