- "Michelle served as my Career Transition Specialist during a recent career transition, encouraging and directing me as I created a new path. Demonstrating a balance between process and empathy, she was able to effectively guide me towards a direction that allowed me to balance my work and life, while combining my multiple work experiences towards an exciting new direction. She actively listens, blending meaningful experience and examples derived from her work with others who have been successful under her tutelage. Most of all, she does it with a sense of humor!"
- I was lucky to be assigned to Michelle during my transition time with Wiederhold and Associates. From the get go she developed and planned an organized approach to my transition process. Considering I was not a typical client, Michelle also took the time to understand some of the unique aspects of the engineering profession. This really helped further into my transition as she was able to facilitate multiple networking sessions with appropriate contacts in her network. These sessions enhanced the networking I was completing and prepared me for many of the interviews I had towards the tail end of my transition.
Another aspect of Michelle’s performance I was encouraged by was her friendly approach to the bi-weekly phone updates we would have. These check-in meetings achieved some much needed motivation, encouragement, and recognition to push through the process of job applications daily. Without the influence of Michelle my approach would have been less focused, and may not have resulted in the job offer I accepted.
Overall, I would gladly refer anyone to work with Michelle in the future. She does well understanding the needs of her clients and pushes them appropriately to succeed in the Wiederhold program.
Thank you again to Michelle for guiding me along my transition journey, and thank you to Jim for allowing me this opportunity to join your program. It was a success story in the end, and I hope there is some encouragement that this program works great for those outside of the medical industry as well.
